The sheer scale and pace of development of the law and practice in this fast moving environment plus the need to track issues which cross professional (legal, finance, property etc) boundaries has led to the conclusion that it would add considerable value to share the burden of updating and expanding the work with other carefully selected practitioners and experts in their respective fields. Consequently, We are delighted that several legal and finance colleagues have kindly agreed to participate in LACAP to add their considerable wealth of experience to this work. In time, we hope to expand the finance and tax sections and the procurement sections and to provide model documents, templates and drafting which has been used on existing local authority companies and partnerships in order to make this work an essential ‘toolbox’ when such undertakings are contemplated.
Our aim is to spread knowledge and add value for local authorities and their prospective partners and advisers.
